Money is like recycling papers; we give money and we get money in return. The great thing about consuming is that we get jobs in return. If we didn’t consume the corporations would not make money, and if they do not make money they cannot provide us jobs. Consuming daily means that we are also paying our taxes and money will keep flowing. If the society has money to spend why not spend it? It shows that our economy has not touched bottom and that we are still living in decent conditions.
Our daily consumption not only helps keeping money flow and jobs growing but it also helps set standards for quality. If we consume, we want good quality and corporations already know that they cannot sell the people bad products. As consumers we have the right to access good products, and by consuming we are also setting high quality standards. If we didn’t consume as much as we do, we would be more likely to buy bad quality because no one would really care. If we did not buy as much no one would worry about selling goods to the people. The only way we can be offered high quality products is by consuming because business people care about their clients coming back for more.
It is important to keep creating innovation. We like products that meet a high quality standard and we love progress as well. If a product can be better, and easy to use why not buy it? It’ll save us time. Technology is a great example of progress. When we did not have computers it was harder to see our families in pictures; Now that we have computers and phones we can speak to our families who live in different states or cities. Innovation keeps things progressing and keeps us motivated to consume. Everyone is more alert of what they’ll sell next and how they can make something better or faster which in most cases is exiting. Consumers are what we need to promote innovation.
As long as America has consumers consuming there will be jobs, money, and progress. Our daily consumption helps our society in many ways; there are more job opportunities and more peace. When the people have jobs they are more at peace and less likely to worry about their daily needs. Its important for consumption to grow to create innovation and to see progress in the products we buy. As consumers we deserve high quality products but we will not be able to achieve high quality standards unless there are people to sell to.
